Who we are

TechRocket Historic Radio Museum is a project that started in 2013 with the goal of building a dedicated museum to the history and technological evolution of the radiocommunications.

TechRocket Historic Radio Museum is an initiative of Luis Garcia, founder of ERZIA Technologies and co-founder of Santander Teleport, to preserve and spread knowledge of radio technology, which is inherent to the nature of the two companies. The ultimate goal is to help educate both internal and external actors on the history of the radiocommunications industry and develop a sense of vocation that helps to create the best future radio products.

The collection currently comprises close to 100 hundred items ranging from transmitters and receivers to test or anchilliary items, which are progressively been added to this website and which represent one the most dynamic innovation innovative periods of the radiocommunications history: wwII.

Of special interest is the growing collection of US Navy military radios used on board all types of Navy vessels during wwII. It is also our intention to expand its contents to cover RADAR development and innovations.

TechRocket Historic Radio Museum is currently on display on both ERZIA and Santander Teleport companies in Santander, Spain.

The exposition for the moment is internal to the companies, but can be visited under request.

From time to time, selected items of the collection are taken and displayed during the annual European Microwave Week and International Microwave Symposium at ERZIA's booth.

TechRocket Radio Museum is an asociate member of the Historic Naval Ships Association (HNSA) of the United States.
